Company Information
The mobile app was developed for a large digital healthcare company to provide a healthcare marketplace for consumers. This platform connects consumers with healthcare service providers so that healthcare-related services can be provided virtually via a mobile app or web portal. The major challenge in the project was to offer various healthcare-related services like virtual consults with doctors, prescription tracking, lab ordering, tracking health history, collecting vitals, etc. under one platform.
The process started with an in-depth study of various healthcare services to be offered and the relevant end-to-end workflow for each service i.e., how consumers will request those services vs how the providers will offer those services. Simultaneously, we had our UI/UX team start defining the user journey from the end consumers, healthcare providers, and the customer service team. We had made this system scalable, supportable, and secure keeping in mind the sensitive information that was being processed in the platform.
The core binder of this project was a one-stop shopping experience for consumers for their healthcare needs. It facilitated at-home health services for consumers without leaving their homes and it allowed providers to render their services across the United States (US) from the comfort of their homes or office. With this, the project enacts the goal to serve and offer quality healthcare services on a larger scale with convenience.
